Young & Bell, ACCPA was established by R. Brent Young and J. Allan Bell in 1987.  They began practicing together as staff accountants for another local firm in 1981.  Terri L. Watkins joined Brent and Allan as a staff accountant in 1987. R. Brent Young is a tax attorney as well as a CPA.  He received his undergraduate, Master of Business Administration, and law degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University.  Brent remains heavily involved in the areas of taxation and tax advocacy matters. J. Allan Bell, CPA, attended Memphis State University and completed his degree in accounting at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.  Allan is our Managing Shareholder, as well as continuing to work in all areas of the practice. Terri L. Watkins, CPA and shareholder, received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Arkansas State University.  Terri is our Staff Manager, and is also active in all areas of the practice.
